Community Information
This is a mirror of information found in the community's userinfo.
The Harem LiveJournal community is a fiction and discussion community focussed on the supporting female characters of The X Files. You will need to create a LiveJournal account and join the community in order to read members-only discussions.
If you are a regular LiveJournal user, you will be comfortable with the procedure for using the community via the LiveJournal site. However, if you are not an experienced LJ user you may prefer to use the forms lower down the page to login and post. Topics You may post freely with discussion topics about X Files supporting female characters, or fan creatives which focus on one or more of them. There is also a certain range of related but off-topic content which is permitted in moderation - supporting actress news, relevant site updates, general alternative Phile discussion ("alternative" being characters, pairings, and analysis that are outside the mainstream). Finally, there is an Off Topic Tolerance Day announced once a month, usually on a weekend, during which off-topic posts are welcome. On those days, topic rules are suspended but netiquette rules remain in force. Netiquette When posting, please keep your posts civil, respectful, and on-topic. There is to be no flaming of any character, pairing, person, or group. Support any criticisms with analysis and fairness, not vitriol. Show respect for users reading in the workplace or on dial-up by using the LJ-cut to hide NC17 material, long posts, and large images. Concerning Fanfic While fanfic is most welcome in the community, please note that as is usual in other parts of the fandom, a plain text version of your story is needed for archiving purposes. We ask that all fanfic be cross-posted to the email list for archive. Be sure to include an appropriate rating in your headers.
Please note that this will log this computer in to your LiveJournal account for sixty days. If you need to log out, go here.
You can also post with mood and other options here.
